This is a lovely, traditional Portuguese Quinta, set in grounds with trees, private pool, covered outside area and plenty of parking.

You enter the property from a gravel track through an electric gate, with plenty of parking leading to the main house.

The property has been well maintained, but is an older building, with traditional thick walls throughout. There is a sitting room, with an office mezzanine, leading on one side to a huge kitchen with a utility room at the rear. The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, oven, cooker, fridge freezer and a range of units. There is access to the side garden.

Turning left from the sitting room, there is a guest toilet, then the accommodation suite of three bedrooms (one en suite) a family bathroom and another room (with air conditioning) previously used as a bedroom (making 4 bedrooms in total).

There is a wood burner in the sitting room, and various electric heaters throughout the property.

Upstairs is a little bar, with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside.

There is a large pool, and an under cover dining area next to it. There is plenty of space and shade within the garden area.

The Quinta is available for 12 months rent (unfurnished) from 1st September 2022.

The location is close to O Barradas restaurant in Silves, although the property is technically in Estombar. Basically, it sits between Lagoa and Silves on a small side track. It is not within walking distance to anywhere (other than the restaurant!) so you would need a car to get around.

It is a few minutes drive to the A22 and the N125, and close to the international school in Lagoa.

It is a beautiful property if you are looking for a slice of Portuguese living. It is NOT full of mod cons, but is a strong building, with many lovely features and a comfortable feel.
